1.The Statement Piece

Adding in a few LARGE pieces of art to your home is a great way to add style and is so fun! Two easy places to start is above a bed or on a mantle.

If you room is mostly neutral, this is wonderful way to introduce color to your space

2. The Entryway

Your entryway table is not only the place to set your keys, but also to set a welcoming tone to your home. By using an inviting piece of art, you, your family and guests will feel welcomed in right away.

Pair it with a lamp, a green plant and a mirror for the ultimate coziness and extra light, day and night.

3. The Shelfie

With all that open shelving going in our kitchens these days, along with the bookshelves around our homes, we have ample space to play designer and decorator.

Don’t forget to add art to these spaces. It creates a place for our eye to rest and a way to add order to our shelves.

4. Double Up

A new trend I have been noticing and LOVE, is pairing two pieces of art vertically. We have been pairing them horizontally for a long time, but this is a fresh way to pair art in your home.

This is especially great for narrow walls and smaller spaces. Here are a few more examples below.

5. Small Spaces

Another way to style art in your home is in small spaces like bathrooms, nooks and kitchens. Pretty much any place you want to add extra style and warmth.

And when you simply set the art on a counter or shelf, it makes it extra easy to move around or change up for the seasons.

Art adds so much warmth, life and personality to our homes.

It is an essential layer.

And often, the focal point of a room.

A place for your eye to rest.

A way to help you create peaceful spaces that refresh you.
